Who is Glendennis?

One of the most common questions that people ask is, "Who is Glen Dennis"? When we were expecting our first child, we went through the same turmoil that most new parents experience. What name should we choose that will express who we want that person to be? We both had relatives named Glen that we were fond of, and we liked the name, so we tried it out, repeating it over and over. Glen Dennis, Glen Dennis, Glendennis. We realized that it sounded like the name of a forest in Scotland! (Isn't it just south of Loch Ness?) So we decided to name our home Glendennis, instead of our son. (For our sons, we decided on Jacob and Aaron.)

We hope the name evokes the Old World charm, enveloped in a sylvan setting, that we strive to provide to our guests. We've also provided this little snippet to show that we try not to take ourselves too seriously, either.
